Hi Jeff, I have many old records, all sizes and speeds. Will catalogue them and send a list via this page, that is if you are interested. If not, maybe you could put me in touch with someone who might be. I am 84 yrs. young and cannot bring myself to throw these records in the trash. Thanks for any suggestions you might have.

I've been pondering the idea of a Scott Joplin website for a while. I'm very impressed with yours. I got hooked on Scott Joplin via the Joshua Rifkin albums of Scott Joplin Piano Rags. I wish I could find those on CD's. Keep up the great work. SincerelyJim Plaisted.

Hello. I found this site to be very interesting. I learned how to play Joplin's "Entertainer" when I as in eight grade but it is not until now that I am able to play it how I think it should be played. I have a deep interest in Rag and I hope that you are able to put up some more of his work on your page. Have a great day.

I love all kinds of music, provided it is good. In 1978, a year before I arrived in America I tuned in the classical station in Caracas, Venezuela and immediately rushed to my tape recorder. Something very unusual was playing. For an hour and a half I was in heaven. I had never heard such a gorgeous opera. My best guess was Victor Herbert. Boy was I stunned when it turned out to be Scott Joplin's "Treemonisha". I wore out the tape, listening to it at least fifty times. As soon as I arrived in America I got his piano music and was not disappointed. Joplin is a giant in music, and not just American music. Thanks for honoring this very great soul, who is not remembered as much as he should be.

To whom it may concern- Hello. My name is cory and I am 14 years old. In my social studies class we were given an assignment on a main person that has contributed to the 20th centry. Since I play the trumpet and I'm nvolved with music, I chose to write about Scott Joplin. I feel he was a great contributer to our society of music. Well i need as much information as I could on him(enough for a three page term paper). If you havecan you plese send it to me right away. It is verymuch so appreciated. Thank you for your time. >cory
