I really love the music of Scott Joplin. My first exposureto ragtime was in the 1950's when I was very young and therewas a television show in Los Angeles which featured silentcomedies with ragtime music in the background. The musicstayed dormant in my mind until I saw the movie "The Sting".I am very glad to have found this web site. Thanks much.

I'm a big fan of Joplin, and this website is excellent! However, I have simplified versions of 'Country Club', 'The Entertainer' and 'Rag Time Dance', and don't want to have to buy a whole Jpolin book to get hold of the full versions. Could you let me know when you have the sheet music for them? Thanks, Sam Cook

Hi, I realllllllllly love this site! (especially the MIDI files) Keep up the good work! One suggestion I might have though, is if you could maybe get some recorded versions of the actual instrument. Whenyou use the "buzzes", it kinda subtracts from the true rag-time feeling. This site will really help me with this project that I'm doing. Thanks for the wonderful site!

Hello there! My mother plays ragtime, your site had MIDIfiles for all of Scott Joplin's stuff, so I downloaded themall and turned a couple choice rags into printable sheet music with a freeware software thing from http://www.notation.com/A/sheet_music.htmThat was really cool - we printed out a couple she had lost!"MidiNotate" turns a MIDI file to sheet music. I thought you'd like it.
