Nice work on your site. Enjoyed my visit.
Setting a goal is not the main thing. What is most important is deciding on a plan to achieve that goal and then sticking to that plan.

I sell Reproduction Victorian Paper goods at the De Anza College Flea Market in Cupertino, CA. We bring CDs and Tapes and play music for our own pleasure and if the public enjoys it so much the better. We ALWAYS get questions and/or favorable comments when we put on our Scott Joplin tape and we notice that people stay in our booth longer. How fortunate for us that Claire came by today, told us about her wonderful, talented, Ragtime Playing Husband and gave us the web address.I'm tired, sunburned, put my back out and didn't make much money today -BUT I consider this day a total success because of having access to this wonderful music! Thank you Thank you!! I've just sent the link to everyone I know!
This provides much more than a brief introduction to Ragtime Music. I shall recommend it to any and all.
Hi i just stop by to say that this is a great site.
Great website....Rag-time music very good....Thanks for the midi downloads.
I have loved the music of Scott Joplin for many years but did not know that you had this web site. I have downloaded your midi files and now play them as a background when I am writing.Wonderful, keep up the good work.regards Keith 🙂
Cool site!
Unfortunely I am not a piano player but, Iwould give any thing to be able to play. Especially ragtime music. i envey people that can play it. It has to be wonderful to have such a talent.
Thank you so very much. I play the piano a lot including some Scott Joplin. I have the music book from the New York Library but I am not a good enough sight reader to find any new pieces to play outside of recordings which are quite incomplete. Now I can hear them all and learn any I like. My favorites so far are: Maple Leaf, Entertainer, PineApple, Easy Winners and Rose Leaf rags. Bless you and your wife.
hi to all music-lovers around the world from austria
Jeff - thanks for still being here! Got a new computer recently and was tidying up the old bookmark list. So many on it have moved on or just don't work, it's good to find the ragtime stuff still there! Hope you and Claire are good, and yes I know I should write. Well this is a start isn't it?All the best,Kevin

When we were looking for some rag songs for my husband's band to cover i was shocked to see your site come up. To think Clair had this hidden talent all of these years in her husband. Great seeing your wedding photos. I still miss your friendship.

I too am Jeff Powell. I'm not a sissy "Jeffrey" either. My give name is "Jeff". Says so on my birth certificate! You don't even look like a Jeff. You look more like a Steve or a Paul. I hereby challenge you and all other self-styled, bogus Jeff Powells (especially Canadian ones!) worldwide to do battle for the title of Jeff Powell Prime! I'm no lightweight either! 6'2"/200lbs of Jeff Powell fury!! I'm 27 and I do graphic design/illustration and work in comics but I'm a scrapper, boyo! Grrrr!
Your page is wonderful!! I enjoyed viewing your new home. Marvelous! I would love to see some extended family pictures on your page so that the world could see the best cousin in the world.

Please do send me e-mails to discuss Scott Joplin's music as he is worth discussing! The site is great and I love listening to his music aswell as playing it on the Piano.

Hi! For the past 20 yrs. I have been issuing, monthly, an illustrated newsletter about collecting vintage sheet music. It is called Remember That Song. We have a lot of ragtimers among our members , Dick Zimmerman, Dave Jasen, Trebor Tichenor, Terry Parrish, and Elliott Adams writes and illustrates our monthly ragtime feature. I was very happy to see this site and i know it will bring GREAT pleasure to ragtime fans all over. It is such a joy! Good luck! Lois, Editor, Remember That Song News. (If you would like some past issue samples, just tell me where to mail them)
