Great site, loved it. I wish you could get some of those MIDI's in Real Audio format. I love Maple Leaf Rag, And it sounds much better on the piano. So if you could get it and put it into real audio format that would be great. Wonderful web-page. Way to go, man.
Thanks for goving enjoyment to all those that appreciate this music. Keep up the good work. Alan.
Jeff: I have visited your site off an on over the last year and have enjoyed it very much. I was intrigued (sp ?) by your comment in reference to the fact that many people visit your site but few sign your Guest Book - like I have not before. You mentioned that you get an access report. Is this provided by your server or do you have a special program on your website? I am on the Concentric Network and they provide a service which logs all the accesses to the website by time and indicate what files were accessed and the number of bytes downloaded for a particular file. I get very few E-mail responses in regards to the website. I estimate that about 1/4 % of the visitors respond. Is this is line with your experience? I had given thought to putting my web- site on Geocities- as a matter of fact I even signed up for the 10 million byte website at $4.99 per month. After a little investigation, it appears that it is not possible to change the value of their counter and that I would not be able to have any information on the visits to my website. So I think I will stick with Concentric unless I can find some program that will provide similiar information as the Concentric system does. Regards, Colin
I was looking for information on Scott Joplin for a friend of mine. His name is David Huls, P.O. Box 721, Julian CA 92036. He would like to know if there is a collection of Joplin tunes on CD that he could purchase. Thank you. S. Porter
.
would you add me to your mailing list if you have one, when you have a new midi sequenced? will there be a date for the new midi's? Van van-go@msn.com
Thanks for being there. I enjoyed my stopover at your home page. Mostly I enjoy GOOD piano, ragtime, and music (listening only) in general. Glad you are into geanology. So am I. Other hobbies: amateur radio, computers, photography, and just plain "talking" to people. Good luck. May you have LOTS of visotors to your home page, etc. I enjoyed myself here. Joe
Great page! I found it on Yahoo when I needed emergency info for a paper on Scott Joplin that had been majorly procrastinated. Thanks for the in-depth info! I also like the midi- it gives me something to listen to when I switch back and forth from MS word!

Congratulation!! Your Scott Joplin's Page is very intereting.
Good work memorializing one of the great innovators of 20th century music. Love the MIDI files. Hope you have time and energy to keep it up.
You have a wonderful site. I hope I have in cache what I indicated off of it. There are a whole bunch of ragtime folks in the Nordic Provinces who make their own ragtime music. Believe you have probably met them before. You have a magnificent collection. Thanks

You've done a grand service to the people. Thank you! Please continue with your efforts. Sincerely, John Freeman
Very interesting page - I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the work.
I never used my computer much for music. The other day I accessed a web site that said I needed Crescendo to hear it. I downloaded Crescendo and wanted to test that it was "working". There isn't much I really like in music except Dixieland which I LOVE, so I found myself here.
You've done all the hard work, and all we have to do is listen. Thanks very much. They sound great!
Years ago, I used to have loads of music files for my old Commodore computer. I had downloaded a bunch of ragtime files which I really enjoyed listening to. Until tonight, I never knew that MID files existed for the PC. Thanks!! You've done a tremendous job. - Mike Shriver
Thank you
I have been a fan of Joplin for years and have all his sheet music and his complete works by Dick Hyman. Please add Bethena. Great job.

I am a ragtimer from Duluth,MN. I am totally hooked on ragtime music, play the piano in my free time when I am not working as a Registered Nurse. Our ragtime group in this neck of the woods is called the Lake Superior Ragtime Society, Inc. We meet about 4 times a year to enjoy ragtime music in our community. Our next music meeting will be November 19, in Duluth. Any questions, email me at the above address. Really enjoy your midi files and your Home Page. Keep raggin! Sandy

The MIDI's sound great...Nice job.
I love jazz and Indian classical music. Both afford 'on line' innovation thus allowing the artiste to express himself, while remaining within the ambit of the composition. I was absolutely delighted to listen to your midi files. Carry on the good work. I extend my good wishes.

I look forward to visiting this site as you add more info. Joplin has been a favorite of mine for most of my 65 years. As a matter of fact, it's because of my interest in ragtime that I purchased an electric player piano and am searching for rolls with ragtime. (Would you believe that I'm also trying to learn ragtime, even at this age? Cook, man!
.
I sure do love the old time country songs and gospel music of days gone by. I search for more of them each day. They are becoming harder to find every day. Please do more of them.
I have just discovered the Windows95 media player. Your midi files are enjoyable.
